Isn’t the real goal to get it done right the first time and avoid problems?
We think so. And so does Dominion Transmission. They called Sloan Brothers to install a complete, new Dual Zone Watchman Lubrication System on unit #1 of their Sabinsville Compressor Station. The specs: Clark HBA5-3 Integral Engine/Compressor; 1,100HP @ 300 RPM; 15 feeds to Power for 33 Pints/24 Hours, 6 Feeds to Compressor Rod Packing for 6 Pints/24 Hours.
Installation was completed by a two-man crew in just 16.5 hours on site. That’s all components installed, 310 linear feet of stainless steel tubing expertly run and strapped down, all system operations fully tested, and engine on line.
Dominion Transmission knew that with Sloan Brothers there would be no problem. You see, Sloan Brothers supplied the first five HBA systems in 1965 when the station was Consolidated Natural Gas. In 1980, some were replaced new along with two new TLA systems. Several more systems were replaced in 1993 – and in 1999 when the compressor cylinders were converted to non-lube. In 2006 through 2009 we installed four more new systems. We have a long history of proven solutions – and no problems – at this site.
Sloan Brothers has been involved with Sabinsville Station for over 40 years, and they have had no trouble with their lubrication systems. We know how to build customer loyalty.
